Girl Scout Program

The Girl Scout program can change the way girls see the world and their place in it.  Girls learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment.  The Girl Scout program is based on four fundamental goals that encourage girls to:  (1) develop to their full potential; (2) relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; (3) develop a meaningful set of values to guide their actions and to provide for sound decision-making; and (4) contribute to the improvement of society.  Girl Scouts are divided into Daisy Scouts (ages 5-6), Brownie Scouts (ages 6-8), Junior Scouts (ages 8-11), Cadet Scouts (ages 11-14), and Senior Scouts (ages 14-17).

Trinity currently hosts four troops:  Brownies Troop 241, Junior Troop 153, Cadet Troop 244, and Senior Troop 235.  For more information, contact Lisa Stasiowski at (724) 846-6576.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, stregth, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.  AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, political organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses or opposes any causes.  Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Trinity is the host site for the Absolute Group which meets Mondays at 8:00 PM.

Al-Anon Family Groups

The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems.  We believe alcoholism is a family illness, and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.  Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any cause.  There are no dues for membership.  Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions.  Al-Anon has but one purpose:  to help families of alcoholics.  We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.

Trinity currently is the host site for two Al-Anon groups:  a Regular Al-Anon Meeting (open discussion) which meets on Wednesdays at 8:00 PM and a Regular AL-Anon Meeting (closed discussion) which meets on Fridays at 10:00 AM.
